My sister Shannon's birthday party

So, for the first time in like, 2 years, my whole family was together. Well, MY family. Joe and Kurt were home with a particularly nasty virus. (which Shannon came down with the following week despite the sick people staying home) However, Shannon flew down for her 30th (yay 30!) birthday, and anyone who is ANYONE in the MacKay and MacKay extended folk were there. It was a faerie party! Yes, I know the spelling of faerie looks weird to the uninitiated. But for those who love faeries, you know. Anyway, it was a blast. In my next post, I will introduce the web to my amazing, creatively geniused family!

My lanterns in all their lit glory at the end of the night before all the shrubbery and insects fell off. Glue Guns don't work on glass. It was such a great party for so many reasons. Fun, fantasy, family. It definitely got a Big Fat F!!! Hardy har har. Lest anyone forget this fact,
